Biography
I am the youth pastor at New Life Bible Church in Winnetonica (for those of you who don’t know that’s Winnebago and Pecatonica combined). The church is located in Northern Illinois about 10 minutes from Rockford and about an hour from Chicago. At New Life, in addition to being the crazy youth guy, I am also responsible for our Worship ministry and Media ministry. I grew up in a great Christian home with awesome parents, but it wasn’t until the age of 20 that I truly gave my life to Jesus Christ. From that moment on my life radically and completely changed forever. I served as a volunteer in youth ministry and worship ministry in a church of about 1500 for about 10 years before being hired as the part time youth pastor at New Life. I was privileged to be a part of a team there that took a youth ministry with a weekly attendance of 35 to becoming a ministry of 300 strong every week. My biggest supporters in ministry are my family. My wife Stacy and I have two kids, Cadence and Gage. We live in Pecatonica where we also volunteer on the local fire department. In addition to working at the church, I work full time for Ticomix, Inc. as a software developer.
