Biography
Don Knoup is the lead pastor of Connecting Point Church in Freeport, IL. Pastor Don grew up in Northern Illinois in a great Christian home with wonderful parents, but it wasn’t until the age of 20 that he truly gave his life to Jesus Christ.
He served as a volunteer in youth ministry and worship ministry for about 10 years before being hired as a bi-vocational youth pastor. During that same time, Don worked in the software industry as an application developer.
Pastor Don is a gifted communicator with a desire to share God’s truth in a way that is practical and easy to relate to our every day lives. His passion is to connect people with Jesus Christ and to see them reach their God given potential.
He lives in Pecatonica, IL with his wife Stacy and two kids, Cadence and Gage. Additionally he works full time for Ticomix, Inc. in Loves Park, IL and serves as a Volunteer Firefigther/EMT for the Pecatonica Fire Protection District.
