At times the pressures of life seem to crush us. All of those stresses in life (bills, job, family, relationships, responsibilities) seem to accumulate into one might crushing blow of defeat. It can seem at times impossible to escape from under all the pressure that life sometimes places on us.
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. 8 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—
2 Corinthians 4:7-9
It is at the time when all seems to be impossible…God steps in and takes our impossible and makes it possible. When the crushing, perplexing, despair of life is weighing heavily upon your shoulders…remember this. You are not forsaken and you will not be destroyed. You have a God who loves you and wants the very best for your life.
