Repentance

This post by Steven Furtick has been really speaking to me this week. This puts a whole new spin on what repentance is supposed to be about. If you need God’s forgiveness in a certain area of your life, then by all means drop to your knees and ask God. According to 1 John 1:9, He is faithful to forgive you. But once you have done that, don’t forget to stand up. Don’t forget that from God’s perspective you have the righteousness of Christ. (Philippians 3:8-10) You are more than a conqueror. You are a royal priesthood. You are a chosen generation. Remember who you are and that it is God that has placed you there!
