Wow this is a pretty deep thought by Pastor P. I believe this is true. But, why is it true? Why can’t people connect with our successes as well as they can connect with our failures?
The answer is simple. It shows that we are real…that we are human. When people can recognize you’re fallible it allows them to realize that not only do they connect with the fact that you are imperfect, but it shows them that if you can accomplish something than so can they.
So what is the difference than? If I fail and I don’t really have it altogether all the time then what separates me from anybody else. What makes me any better? The reality is that we are just the same as everyone else the only difference is Jesus!!!!
Seriously, when we lose site of the fact that our successes in life have come from God’s grace…that’s when the problems come in. Let’s recognize that He is the reason we are who we are. He is the one who has made me more than a conqueror. Remember the only difference between us and the rest of the world is Jesus.
