It’s Christmas time once again, so that means it’s time for nxt.lvl’s 2nd annual live web cast….and do we have a show for you! (In case you were wondering we will not be having nxt.lvl youth service tonight at New Life Church…so you have no excuse…it seems like you have nothing better to do then to watch this webcast.)

For you techno-geeks that tried to tune in last year and were sorely dissapointed with the performance of our Tricaster, you will be pleased to hear we have invested big money in new technology. That’s right, we went with a free online service. This year we will be using simple webcams and livestream.com to handle all of the web video streaming. What we found last year with our first annual webcast was that we didn’t have nearly enough bandwidth to provide a decent stream from our Newtek Tricaster. So this year we have decided to use an online service called livestream. We will be using 4 laptops all connected to the livestream website. One laptop computer will be managing the show while the other 3 will be using their webcams to provide 3 separate camera angles.
