Joy

My joy is not determined by what happens to me, but what Christ is doing in me and through me.
-Pastor Steven Furtick

In James 1:2-3 the bible says, “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.”  That word patience in the Greek is Hopomone which means steadfastness, constancy, endurance.  It describes a person who is not swerved by the challenges and struggles of this world but endures knowing that as Paul described in 2 Corinthians, God’s grace is sufficient for us.  Take JOY today knowing that God’s grace is enough for whatever challenge might be played out in front of you.
