Be Honest

Posted: September 9, 2009 in Life in General

OK, now be honest…how many of you thought that I died?  Seriously it’s been like a week since my last blog post and my posts in general have been really sporadic lately.  I’m alive and well, but my "full-time" job has changed recently and my "free-time" has been pretty much non-existent because of it.

Some of you probably know this already…but for those who don’t…here you go.  Way back in 2001, my brother and I joined together and combined our forces and created a computer consulting company called Unique Solutions Software, Inc.  He and I had both been doing consulting on our own and decided there was strength in numbers.  That chapter of our lives has now come to a close.  The company that was owned by our two families and the place that employed not just David and I, but also my wife part time has now been acquired by Ticomix, Inc.

I am no longer my "own boss" (honestly I never understood that expression and anyone who owns there own business will be able to related to me completely on this one.  No one, except for God is really ever their "own boss".  You always answer to someone.), so all of the freedom of owning my own company has now gone.  I find myself in a cubicle most days from 8am to 5pm.

Actually, I must admit that so far I am enjoying Ticomix a lot.  Hopefully as all of the transitional things begin to settle down I will be able to get back on board with blogging again and will be posting more regularly.  I felt that all of you faithful readers deserved some sort of explanation for my lack of posts recently.

God bless you all…and by the way I have a brand new post coming soon!
