Lately I have felt somewhat discouraged. I have been struggling to find that joy and motivation. But, this is how great the body of Christ is. I may have felt down but so many people have been right there beside me encouraging me. I have seen text messages. I’ve seen comments on facebook. I have even had messages written on the window of my truck. There have been small conversations where friends have taken me aside to speak kind things to me. I had a good friend who stopped by my office just to pray for me in order to encourage me.
People, let me tell you something. That’s how it’s supposed to work. We are supposed to rally behind each other and lift each other up. We should inspire one another and help one another. They Body of Christ, His Church, should stand together. Because where two or more are gather together in His name, there He is in the midst of us.
This is how great my God is. While I was in the middle of discouragement, he gave me this word. I believe the word that God spoke to me was, “Press On, Push Forward!”
I don’t want to take another step back. I will not shrink at the sight of my enemy. I will not fear for my God is greater. I will not falter and I will not fail for my God is able. I will stand strong and be firm for I’m standing on the Rock which is my Salvation. I WILL PRESS ON. I WILL PUSH FORWARD.
