I Want To Matter

I desperately want my life to matter. I want to live my life in such a way that it makes a difference. I want my life to impact the lives of the people around me in a postive way. I want to be used by God to impact my community. I want to live a life that is all about making the name of Jesus famous.
It’s not a question of being recognized, honored, or regarded. I don’t want position or influence or power. Except, inasmuch as I can use any or all of those things to push forward the kingdom of God.
Luke 22:25-27 says that it is greater to serve. I want to serve, but in my service I want to exalt God; Psalm 108:4-6. If influence or power means that it gives me opportunity to speak life into or over the people within my influence, than I want God to use me for that purpose.
I want God’s purpose to be fulfilled in my life. I pray that every day He would continue to reveal to me His plan for my life.
