Sunday Reflections

Posted: November 24, 2008 in Church, Life in General

As I look back at our Sunday morning services.  One concept really seems to be at the forefront of my mind.  Pastor Gary spoke again this week about the subject of thankfulness as the Thanksgiving holiday quickly approaches.  During his message he talked about how we are thankful for what God has done, but we praise Him because of who He is.

As easy as it can be at times to take for granted the many blessings in our lives (such has the many freedoms we have in this country) it is just easy to see why we should be thankful.  All it takes is just a moment to examine our lives and we can see so much that God has done, is doing, and is about to do.

Sometimes I can be negative.  In fact at times I can be a bit of a complainer.  I really need to just take a moment from time to time to really thank God for what He’s doing in my life.  I encourage you to do the same.
